Can we get a heck yeah? HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wow! What a year! 2018 brought us a few more changes, great friends, experiences, we embraced old memories and created a few new ones over fresh, handcrafted beer. One of the biggest changes our brewery has seen (a part from the massive brewery undertaking we did to revamp and renovate our production to keep up with thirsty Albertans) was take our River City Raspberry, Jimmy’s Easy IPA, and our Farmer’s Tan White Ale to the can!  Making the switch from the bottle made adventuring and recycling, just a little bit easier. We know how important craft beer is to Albertans, so we wanted to introduce a few of our classics to the outdoor skating rink, on a bike ride around the neighbourhood, a visit to the mountains, those back yard fires, and a trip to the lake. We love hearing about your adventures and better yet, seeing them! Find us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to show us how you’re enjoying our canned lineup.

Our executive chef was busy this year! He created a menu that may or may not have been influenced by one of Calgary’s funnest festivals, the Calgary Stampede, and created a Worship the Burger menu that was out-of-this-world delicious. Some of the creations he thought up included Weiners and Beans, a Bulgogi Bison Burger, and a burger with a Seven Ounce Alberta Beef Patty that featured Crispy Pickle Fries! Hungry yet? If you had the chance to try any of these items off of our feature menus this year, we know your mouths are already watering.

Did we mention we brought Alberta some insanely cheap in-house specials? 2018 also marked a year for our first ever FIRESALE! Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9-10PM you can get a Brewsters Blonde for ONLY $2.99 and if that wasn’t good enough, we also paired that with low priced snacks so that you can have a beer and a snack for as little as eight bucks. Our Wing Night specials got a bit better too! Introducing a FIRESALE every Tuesday so you can get $.25 cent wings from 9PM-Close. We know Alberta’s economy wasn’t where we wanted it to be in 2018, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get the best bang for your buck.

This year also brought us an opportunity to collaborate with some of our friends in our community. We think great craft beer is always best experienced with friends and family and we couldn’t be happier to share our craft with local photographers Adam & Alex, Maxwell Photography, Peter Kaczan and amazing Albertan businesses, Añejo, Jelly Modern Doughnut, Pinnovate, Local Laundry, Crave Cupcakes, Acquired Taste Tea, Springbank Cheese Co, Craft Beer Market, and finally, our first collaboration beer with another brewery, Mill Street Organic.

Thank you for an amazing year Alberta, for bringing us along on your own adventures, and for helping to create some really fun memories. We can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store!
